A Red Orchid Theatre relies on the generous contributions
of its audience base to keep the theatre producing
the intense, entertaining, and thought-provoking shows
for which we have earned our reputation over the last
14 years. Only 40% of our annual revenue is derived
from ticket sales, and we count on foundation support
and patron donations for the remainder.
Your tax-deductable donation goes directly toward
production and operating costs, but it also represents
your support of the artistic integrity we cannot maintain
without you. All donors receive thanks in our season
programs.

Intern
Academic semester internships allow university students
to gain the hands-on experience they need to cross
the threshold into Chicago's professional theatre

Volunteer
A Red Orchid Theatre is grateful for volunteers willing
to help the staff in our administrative office. We
regularly welcome assistance with marketing, development,
and publicity. Volunteers contributing a reasonable
number of hours are entitled to complimentary tickets
to A Red Orchid Theatre productions. If you are interested

Rent A Red Orchid for your
production
A Red Orchid Theatre boasts an intimate 80-seat auditorium
in Chicago's bustling and fashionable Old Town neighborhood.
Our air-conditioned space comes equipped with both
sound equipment and lighting instruments. Full box
office support can be negotiated. Our location on
nightlife-oriented Wells Street guarantees heavy foot
traffic, and we are just steps from CTA buses and
rail stations.
Our theatre has been rented for Summer 2008.
Our next availability for a multi week production
rental is Summer 2009. We do have REHEARSAL SPACE
available ongoing.
