woman's life. On the run from her husband, who keeps her locked
up in their Brooklyn apartment, Anne finds refuge in Manhattan.
When two producers offer to buy her story, they end up buying
her body and her mind.
The Treatment offers a provocative look at the relationship
between artist and subject, while exposing the aggressive
heart of the city of New York.
The Treatment received its US premiere at the Public Theater
in New York, George C. Wolfe Artistic Director, after a critically
acclaimed season at London's Royal Court Theatre.
